Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can 10
- 75 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 box 8
- 5 oz cornbread mix
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
In a large bowl, mix together cooked chicken, frozen mixed vegetables, condensed cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, thyme, sage, garlic powder, black pepper, and shredded cheddar cheese
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish
In another bowl, prepare the cornbread mix according to package instructions, using milk and egg
Pour the cornbread batter over the chicken mixture in the baking dish, spreading evenly
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden brown and cooked through
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving
