Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup Nutella
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts optional, for garnish
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Melted butter and chocolate cookie crumbs should be mixed together well in a bowl
Fill a 9-inch tart pan with the dough and press it into the bottom and up the sides
Once it's done baking, let it cool down completely
Mix the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and Nutella in a different bowl until the mixture is smooth and well mixed
Heavy cream should be whipped in a different bowl until stiff peaks form
Fold the whipped cream into the Nutella mixture slowly until it is all mixed together
Smooth the Nutella mascarpone mixture out on top of the tart crust after it has cooled
In a bowl that can go in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each one until the mixture is smooth
Allow it to cool a bit
Spread the melted chocolate out evenly on top of the Nutella mascarpone layer
If you want, you can decorate it with chopped hazelnuts
Put the tart in the fridge for at least two hours before you serve it
Cut it up and serve it cold
